About the Artwork

Born from the artist’s journey into her own memory scape, Healing is an intimate portrayal of the unseen work of self-repair, quiet conversations with the younger self that comfort, acknowledge, and gently rewrite what was once misunderstood or suppressed. Rendered in charcoal, its marks carry both rawness and restraint, each a trace of care for the self that was, and the self becoming.
